Sitting here at work and these other I.T. guys I work with are all about some soccer. So of course they’re all watching da USA game. I don’t like it as much as they do, but it’s a neat sport.
What I admire is these guys’ PASSION for this sport. Check out this email that was sent out regarding the game. (no names or email addresses included of course)
Even with the defender is ONSIDES. This is the goal that was taken back. Even FIFA rules says that if there is a question, the ruling should go to the attacker. If you have any questions, below are two pictures for you to see that this should be a goal. If you still think it was offsides, you don’t know soccer.

Law 11 (Offside) Offside Position
It is not an offence in itself to be in an offside position.
A player is in an offside position if…
…he is nearer to his opponents’ goal-line than both the ball and the second last opponent
A player is not in an offside position if…
…he is in his own half of the field of play
or
…he is level with the second last opponent
or
…he is level with the last two opponents
And yes, this cat included PICTURES to illustrate his point. (lol)
